Beet beer

Beet Weiss a tart balanced beer debuted in Parkville Microbrew Festival in 2014. It was the brain child of Michael Crane co-founded Crane Brewing. The beer has a magenta color tart taste with low alcoholic content. According to the brewer 700 pounds of peeled sliced beets in 30 barrel batch will produce 750 milliliters bottle each.

Basic beer brewing method

Standard beer making involves application of heat at 160 degrees to water in a gallon. Then place grain in grain bag/ tie, add the steep, add malt extract, bittering hops and other processes. After 14 days once bubbles come through the bubbler then add priming sugar solution and bottle.
